turbo engine transplant in my new 92 240. 200

I posted earlier that I have a 92 240. I now have access to a 88 745T with 200k miles. It runs very well with no problems, however the body (mainly a jammed sunroof that is off its tracks) is suspect. Would it be a fairly straight forward process to transplant the turbo engine in the 240 to increase power? I would like to have more power, although it would take a bit away from the integrity of the original setup. I am sure, of now, I will keep the original engine in the 240. thanks.
