trann update 900

Hi all,

Posted a few weeks back about the tranny on my 95 945t. It had erratic shifting and did not like reverse too much either. Anyway, after a flush things seemed a bit better but it was short lived, the tranny got worse, especially after driving through hills or long trips. Anyway, my wife and I decided to go ahead and get a used tranny put in. Vol-tech here in Austin got a wrecked 940t during the weekend prior to my car going in, and they had just serviced the tranny on that car, so it was a known good one. All said and done, removal, installation, new seals and fluid cost us $708 total, including tax. We could not be happier, the car drives great again, and we went from hate to love in the matter of a day. So the good news is we do not have to go find another car - this should last us a while now.

Thanks for all the advice I recieved in diagnosing the problem.

Regards,

David
