hello brick nuts!

the last few days I have been spiffing up my 1989 245 swedish princess. gave it a good rub down with lexol, dash, seats, all interior plastics. I was able to finally remove the front headrests (thanks brickboard for the tip!), boy was it a pain in the arse at first, but when they came out I couldn't believe how easy it was. thought I was gonna poke a hole through the vinyl trying to press down on the release button within the backrest. washed the sheepskin covers 3 times! they wren't dirty or smelly, but just wanted to give them a good wash and also to get rid of the moldy smell after the first wash. vacuumed the interior also and tightened loose screws inside, and superglued the seams of the glovebox. what's up with volvo using cheap glue and all these fasteners, grrrr! a body wsh is coming soon along with cleaning the turbo rims :o) what I really want to do is have crystal-like lenes. I have read, and to my understanding, that the yellowish, foggy film on the headlight lenes can be removed by using a variety of solutions. IS IT TRUE OLD LENES CAN BE MADE TO LOOK CRYSTAL CLEAR? what chemicals? and how do I remove the lenses? thanks!
