Possible Purchase-90 740T Stick 700

I'm considering purchasing a 90 740T with a manual trans. I have wanted a stick for a while and there dosen't seem to be many around. I would appreciate some input about the manual-I hope they are not trouble prone or slower than a auto-Thanks-Dave F.
