hi there all. i asked this simular question before maybe someone could elaborate. i have a bad tranny in my (85 244 turbo) 180,000 miles. i know it has a 03-71 tranny, that all the turbos came with . i my friend has a 03-72L tranny the price is 0.00$ it was pulled from a 16 valve that broke a timing belt (known good tranny). i was told here that shift points are different on the 03-72L o.k. that being said can i use it and what will be expected with shifting and driveability. or anything else anyone can tell me. money is tight and my choice is 03-70 free or 03-72L free. or rebuild my tranny 600.00$ which i do not really have. thank you all.
