My engine is really gunky inside and i've heard various things about cleaning it out with atf type F fluid.

Now my question is....is this method safe...it won't damage anything....i dont' want a shiny engine at the expense of worn pistons or something.

Any specifics on how to do it?..how long to leave it in?


i would appreciate any help...thanks


I realize synthetic oil will do this as well in about 3 oil changes...but i'm trying to find a quicker way
