pulling a 91-93 windshield 200

Has anyone pulled the flush trim style windshield from a junkyard? Are there any tricks for this type of trim, being already bonded to the glass. If I can find one I'd realy like to use the newer style for replacement in the '83. BTW, you can't use earlier glass with newer trim can you?
