Is it worth it to move the radio to the lower din? 200

I have come across some accesory guages for my 240, and there a re a few more that I would like to get. Once I have all 5, I will have to move the cd player to the lower spot. I not shure how i would like that . My car has the m47 transmission. I guess this location would do a great job of hiding the stereo, but would it make it less user friendly. Maybe I could get used to it.
