All,

I yesterday drove my 1980 dl (auto) home from south Florida up to Louisiana. The car was being used by my nephew while he was going through a car update & repair ( He is not impressed by old Volvos ). Bottom line i got the ole baby back.

Fortunatly the engine ran well. I drove it up to 65mph for a distance of approximatly 600 mile. The one problem that i did have was on my dash the alt, brake, light out indicator and sounya lights kept flashing (alot and pretty constant). Any normal person would have panicked but my brother said it had been doing it for some time and he thought something was loose. The temperature & fuel & gas guages worked fine.

If anyone has any input / recommendation of where to start looking i would appreciate it.

I know the mechanics of the car have alot of life left in it and i would like to keep it running. I really like the looks of it with it's double round headlights.

Don't hold this against me but my daily driver is a 95 850 5spd
