developed hard knock ...sounds like rod bearing but also runs bad ...suspected valve train probs...found tensioner was frozen ...replaced tensioner and belt....still runs bad and makes same noise ....i replaced rod bearings/oil pump 25k miles ago not a whiff of probs since...am i on right track? ...still suspect valve prob...will pull cover and inspect valve train next...any common knowledge aspects about this b230 engine norm aspirated?...does distributor fail?..any tricks/techniques for distributor removal?..love the car a 740 gle w/ 165k miles on it... ty in advance...jonb
