'94 940 NA with a 230FD has just had the rubber hose connector at the pulsair valves replaced, but according to the FAQ, I must have a bad valve because it cooked the new rubber part ($40+ down the drain...). I live in an area without emissions testing, but would like to keep the car as original as possible, unless there are some very good reasons not to. It runs fine as it is, but there is some aggravating noise associated with this leak. Do I bite the bullet and buy some new pulsair valves and new connector (again), or do I just plug them and happily motor on? The car has 185k miles on it and I drive about 35k miles a year and no other problems to speak of.
I appreciate your advice.
