Hello all,
Here's the dilemma egauges.com says not to use sealant or teflon tape on the sender, because it will result in inaccurate readings do to a lack of ground.
I followed this advice and I now have a oily engine block and driveway.
My setup is made of a 2" extension a 45 degree elbow and then the sender. This gives me three possible points for leakage.
I'm thinking of using teflon tape, and if the readings are bad, installing a ground strap between the sender and the block.
Have any of you out there had this problem?
Thanks,
