960 CMP 3-1-4 that turned out to be a bad connection at the plug thanks DanR 900

Hi to all 960 ovners! dont be so quick to put this car down.
My 960 has behaved strangely since I bought it 2 years ago, (the usual busy trans, idle and hard engine performance) Confounding the minds of many local volvo mechanics here in southern california. Many thanks to DanR, dm960 and other valuable info from the board that help me solve many problems including sensor fault codes that turned out to be just simply faulty conections. The latest was a CMP code 3-1-4 that turned out to be a bad connection at the plug.
I curious about one thing though, my friends 960 is never than mine (1996) with only 65K but I can kick his ass any time in my 92 at almost 200K. Wonder why?
