turn signal/low-high beam malfunction 200

I have a problem turning the headlights from low to high beam as I bought a new turn signal/cruise control switch and tried to change from high beam to low beam. It doesn't work at all. I had to unplug the high beam lights for now until I find a solution. Is there a relay that I may not know of??
