Still trying to find a 240 wagon. I went and testdrove an '83 turbo wagon today. Now, I used to have an '83 240 18 or so years ago, and I seem to remember it being very under-powered. This turbo wagon had nothing in the acceleration department, and that may be understating it a bit. Shouldn't you be able to feel the turbo 'kick-in', not that I'm expecting to be smashed into the back of the seat or anything, but shoudn't there be some difference? The turbo gauge moved into the beginning portion of the yellow, but never any higher, for what that info is worth. I'm intrigued alittle by this car, as it is fairly cheap, and no rust. Rubberish undercoating is completely intact under floor panels. I just don't know much about turbos, and in Texas summers, are they prone to overheat? There seemed to be 3 radiators, two in front, and a small one behind driver side headlight area.
Thanks for yalls help, and I hope to own one soon. JL
