A/C, cold at idle, warm at speed. 700 1990

New guy here. Sure am glad I found this place. Seems to be a wealth of information here.

Have a problem with a 1990 740 GL. A/C systems blows cool at idle, but at speed the air is warm. I had a frozen condenser fan, but replaced it and have wired it to run constantly. I am thinking the problem might be the compressor clutch, but don't know if maybe there is something in the circuitry that might be causing the problem.

Any thoughts?
