Power windows -- arrrrgh! 700 1986

I've been having problems with my power windows. The switches don't work until some point after the car has been running for a while. I replaced the driver's window switch Sunday as suggested by the FAQ. This fixed the problem temporarily (windows would work immediately after the car was started), but by the end of the day, the problem was back.

Any suggestions on what to look at next?
