Headlight & foglight wiring question 700 1988

I'm just wiring up the salvage yard foglights my 745T was missing.

Ok, there's something screwy here. Maybe after an accident repair someone just plugged things in randomly behind the headlights.

I have wired the driver's side factory foglight to it's harness behind the light. I can't locate the wiring for the passenger side but I think I know where it's going. Read on...

The headlights and Hi beam indicator work properly. However, when the beams are on, so is the radiator's aux fan... ONLY if the foglight switch is on. If I turn off the fog switch with the beams on, the fan goes off.

The passenger side foglight wiring is obviously feeding the fan.
Where does the passenger side foglight harness originate? There's one running from the driver's side, under and behind the bumper, over to the passenger's headlights where it gets lost behind the washer bottle.

I know. I have to pull the airbox and washer bottle to sort out where the fan and passenger fog wires are crossed connected.

Also, aren't the fogs supposed to only come on with the low beams? Not the highs? Is there a relay turning the fogs on and off with the hi beams?

Funny though. On a hot day, I run the high beams and fogs to cool the radiator.
