stupid a/t shifter question 200 1989

I've got a problem with the overdrive fuse blowing, and checking the archives seems to show I should check the wiring around the bottom of the a/t shifter. The cover comes off easily enough with two screws, but now the fun begins. How in the Sam Hill do I get the rest of it apart? Is the lever and knob one piece? (can't be)

After the fun I had trying to figure out how to get the armrest off the door, I figured I'd just ask....
