'82 242GLT everyone! Sunroof isn't acting quite as it should. I've heard these can be a pain, but i'm so mad at it i wanna get it right.

Basically it doesn't quite open all the way, and doesn't quite close all the way. When you go to open it, it stays about an inch closed. If you try to turn it anymore, the handle turns and has a very loud cracking/skipping sound.

When you go to close it, it doesn't quite make it all the way shut. It doesn't raise that 1/8" or whatever it is to become flush with the roof, so if you're washing it, water can go through and drip on the seat.
Any ideas on how i adjust these things?

My old shop teacher called the other day and is parting out an '82 GL with a sunroof, and i'm welcome to any parts. Anything i should grab sunroof related to help me out?
