Car has 206Kmis.

Three months ago the high beams went out. Normal headlights work fine, but the instant I toggle the steering column lever to switch them to high, all the lights go out.

Yesterday the windshield wipers quit - no motion in any switch position. No noise like I would expect if the gear jammed either. I pulled the connector at the motor and measured voltage ... ZERO. I pulled the connector in the steering column at the wiper lever and got 0.5VDC at two pins, but ZERO on the other four.

Does anyone have any ideas? Could these two be related?

Also, I do not have a schematic or wiring diagram. Where can I get one other than buying the (expensive) factory manuals?
