Motor & Transmission Mounts 900 1995

Hello All,

I have been informed by my mechanic that I need to get new Motor and Transmission mounts on my car. I am not familiar with these items and would appreciate anyone who could fill me in on what they are and do they usually get changed out around 9-10 years of age. If you have a reputable website you can direct me to, I would like to get more educated about them.
