Just bought a wagon with the B230E engine (after many years running a B230A carb model). After approx. 250 miles (about 3/4 tank used), a groaning noise starts under the bonnet, near the bulkhead, on driver's side. I think I traced this to the supply fuel line from the tank. It's as if a pump is working too hard and the fuel level is too low to keep up supply. My first time with a fuel injected engine, is this normal, or something I need to look at?
