Found an 83 turbo brick in the bone yard with the sway bars intact. I have an 89 240 and I am told they will fit. The problem is the car is on the ground w/o wheels. I asked the heavy machinery guy if he would lift it up for me so I could go under there and get them but they dont do it. I have to jack it up or have them take them off. They charge 20 for each bar and 20 each for them to get them off. I dont mind paying 40 but 80 is too much for the boneyard. So how do I jack up a car thats in the dirt. I dont have a floor jack only the flimsy volvo jack. Any suggestions for getting under there. Also is it worth getting the back bar? Will it make a difference in the ride?
