exaust conections

i have tried several ways of conecting my header to the rest of my exaust without much luck.
i first had the three bolt flange and gasket like on an muscle car it would always leak after a month or so, i also tried the large clamp like the ones used on big rigs also leaks after a couple of weeks.
i've been sceptical about using hoop and saddle style as they crush the tubing , i want to be able to remove the header with out much trouble and refit it with out leaking. so what kind of connection has anyone used with good results. thanks in abvance
