A little while ago I posted a message saying I was going to order in some very nice black plush windlace (door aperture seal) from Europe and asked for people to reserve a share of the two rolls of product I was going to bring over from Europe. That order is almost sold out (only a couple shares left).

The company that I'm getting this door aperture seal from also makes a very nice outer window scraper seal that is similar looking but of superior quality to the stock stuff we can get for our cars. It's cheaper too. (The outer window scraper seal is the rubber stripping that runs along the outside top of the doors and along the outside of the windows). What makes this stuff much nicer than the stock stuff is that it has a plush lining on the inside which will greatly reduce the friction between the stripper and the glass as the window is rolled up or down. The stock stuff is just rubber on the inside so I think this other stuff will be better. I can provide you with a couple pictures of it and a pdf document which explains the costs, etc. if you e-mail me.

They also have a nice inner window scraper product so if you want to order a "kit" you'll get everything you need to replace the inner and outer window scrapers (clips included). The cost for everything will be at most $49.50 USD (this includes both inner and outer door scrapers and all clips) which is about $10 less than what it would cost for the stock stuff from the usual suspects such as swedishtreasures.com, etc. The price might actually come in cheaper but I won't bother to explain why here but you can find out if you read the pdf file which I will send with the pics if you contact me. The kits will fit all years and versions of the 1800.
