Am considering a swap of turbos on my 1988 740. Have the Garrett and am thinking about the Mitsu with the later exhaust manifold. Is this worth the increased hp? I want a quick street Volvo. How much extra plumbing is necessary? Does it mean different turbo hoses, oil feeder lines, and exhaust flange??? Who has done this with any success? Another question... Does removing the clutch fan and installing electric fans help low end response/ quickness? Is the extra electrical cycling worth it?? Finally, has anyone tried the TME stainless sport exhaust from IPD? Is is worth it ($360) or does the rock wool burn out in a couple of years? Thanks all
