Radiator Leaking? 700 1990

I purchased a Nissens radiator for my 745T about two years ago. Recently I noticed a slight leaking at the plastic side tank at the crimp location to the core fins. The leak seems to happen when I start the car and run for a short time?? (strange) Why does this happen? Is there anything I can do to fix? Hate to go out and buy another after two years.
