Power steering 200 1983

Hi! I'm the (mostly pleased) owner of an '83 242 which has started making yet another interesting noise: this time, when I turn the wheel sharply (as in, when I'm pulling in or out of a parking spot), it makes a kind of whiny/growly sound.

My roommate thought it might just need more power steering fluid, and I'd like to try that before taking it to the mechanic and giving him three hundred dollars, but here's the rub: I, uh, don't actually know where the power steering fluid goes. Can anyone point me to a diagram or something? (The owner's manual is long gone, alas.)
