zf inner tie rod ..peen or washer/tab type 700 1991

I received a pair of inner tie rods and boots from FCP today. There isnt a notch
on the body of the ball part (the part that screws into the rack) to which the washer tab should bend into. So how do I secure the new one ? Do I have the "Peen type"? I have not removed the ones that are on the car as yet ...getting as much info as I can before doing the job!
