Trunk lock is jammed shut 900

'91 940SE -Just had my drivers door locks replaced and now the trunk lock is locked shut in the 'Deadbolt position'. Power unlocking from the drivers lock does nothing. The tumbler moves with a little force to a vertical postion and then back to a horizontal.
Do I need to go through the hole in back seat to fix this ?
Help.
