89, 245 Runnin Rough when cold 200

Before my 245 warms up, five to ten minutes of driving, it seems to idle hard and erratically. When excelerating it stumbles, but only before it warms up. I can't quite imagine what it is, fuel filter problems would cause this condition to exist whether warm or cold, bad plugs would do the same, could the head be warped, or the seal bad?
