Quick Question: Will water hurt the catalytic converter? 700

In the process of changing out exhaust, the pipe
nearest the CAT has a thick oil in it. This would
be the best opprotunity to spray a hose down inside
there to clean it out.

The o2 sensor is already busted so im not worried about
harming that but,

will water hurt the CAT?
