My oil temp gauge doesn't register. I've found a wire just dangling, and when I taped it to the oil pan it started to read a bit. I can see a small round disk on the side of the oil pan (only sticks out about 1/8 inch--almost nothing there), and I'm guessing that the wire is supposed to connect to this. I think the sensor might have come off with the previous owner. Does this sound like a missing sensor? If so, any idea where I can find one? Thanks a lot for your help!
