960 1997 with 130K has a rattle under the car. 900

I have a rattle under the car and no one can find where it comes from. It happens only when I drive slowly (up to 30 mph)on a bumpy road. With open windows it's very hard to hear it. I went to 2 different repair shops and they couldn't find anything. One mechanic suggested removing the struts and inspecting them, but I refused because they were changed a year ago.
Things that were checked:
Struts, shocks, bolt joints, exhaust pipes and muffler, other components in the front. Everything looks nice and firm.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
