Removing kick panel 700 1989

I have that "hot air comes out of dash vents on acceleration" problem, traced to the under dash assembly, and I plan to remove and block the yellow / orange hose. I can't seem to find instructions on removing the left side center console kick panel. All repair instructions in the 700 FAQ simply say "remove panel". Can someone point me towards removal instructions?
