Hi Folks,
My 86 740 runs smooth, starts hot and cold, no problems running. Failed NJ emissions: 193/167 HC, 6.03/0.94 CO, 9.7 CO2, but passed NOX 191/1273. Had the timing set to zero or negative so it would pass NOX. Noticed soot on the plugs so mixture must be rich. FAQ says to check AMM/set to lean. Is that CW or CCW for leaner AMM? I never had a bad temp sensor nor a bad O2 sensor. Thoughts lease.
