Hey guys,
You know when you in deep appriciation for certain things your mind get clouded and some of the decision can turn out to be very foolish. I need some advice and I'll give you the facts. Tell me if it worth it.
Has some problems to begin with this car.
This is 1988 760 TURBO Sedan with 163K mile and in very good condition.
Get really loud noise from the axle area when down shifting mostly plus
when up shift. ( Automatic Tranny )
Timing out of order and smog failed.
Registration expired and will cost $429.00

Buy it for 750.00
Smog 200.00
Regist 429.00
Tranny ???1000.00? = $ 2400.00 or can be used as parts for my 740GL 1990
Please help me to figure this out. Bu the way I already puchased it! ($750)
I do not know how much will it cost me to get rid of that noise. Some said tranny overhaul and some said no problem. Independent trans and very complicated.
