I recently bought a 1979 242GT with the m46 I just got it to work and it seems that it will not shift out of Over Drive. when I flip on the switch at 50 the revs stay the same and it shudders in the lower gears. it did this a few times in the past but it worked its self out. any suggestions? is there a way to manualy get it to disengage and just take back roads home?
