When did 240s have silver turn signal buckets? Was it specific to certain models? My 84 DL has black buckets.
I'd like to either get a set of silver ones or paint my black ones silver. I think they'd be brighter if they were silver. Am I right?

Also, are high watt reverse bulbs a worthwhile investment? I'm talking about the bulbs ipd sells. 50W halogen as opposed to the stock bulbs. $20 seems a bit spendy for reverse lights but if they're that much better...
