What's going on with my 240 No start-AGAIN??????????? 200 1991

Ok, so I have been having trauma with my 1991 240. I got intermittent check engine lights, but as I said in a previous post I cleared out the memory before I checked the codes. Now heres what has been done. I traced down my no-start problem to a faulty Coolant Temp Sensor. After much frustration with my Bentley manual (did NOT mention that you MUST remove the intake manifold to gain access to the Temp Sensor-Srtike one, then it did not have any detailed info on removing the manifold-Strike two.Strike 3 means I burn it). But I digress...now the problem is -after replacing the coolant temp sensor, the car started up, idled roughly but it did run. I shut it off, and it would re-start but for some reason I decided to put the AMM into limp home mode. After shutting the car off and unplugging the AMM, now the car WOULD NOT START-I pluggd the AMM back in, cleared the ECU memory, and it still will not start. It is still flooding out.I'm back at square one! Also I must mention that after I let it idle I got a check engine light-Eureka! Right? NO! I got a code 1-1-1 No problem detected. What gives? I am totally stuck on this one and I don't know what to troubleshoot now. I did test the speed and throttle sensor with the diagnostic module-checked fine. Please help.........Did I mention that I'm desperate? Thanks yet again for all the help.
