Oil Pressure Sensor 200

hello everybody..

I'm trying to fit an aftermarket oil pressure sensor to my car so I can have a 52mm gauge inside the car. The idea was to fit it directly into the old sensor for the oil lamp inside the car.. The only place it could fit because of it rather bulky size compared to the original. The gauge and sensor is from Equus. The problem is that the alternator touches it.. What I need is an alternative sensor or some kind of extension pipe to make it fit.. Anybody with the same problems? The engine is a B230F..
