Howdy,
I'm planning on replacing the FPR on my '89 245 in hopes of solving a warm-stall problem. In order to evacuate the fuel lines, I'm just going to pull the appropriate fuse, then crank the engine until it dies (guess I'll remove the fuel-tank cap as well). I have two questions:
1. I'm sure some fuel will still spill -- how much can I expect? Will a rag be enough to absorb what comes out?
2. How do I remove the FPR from the intake manifold (I can't tell what the connection is)?
Thanks very much for any help you can give.
