Funny noise after hot start (geese under hood?) 700 1991

Hi-

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about a funny "honking" noise that seems to happen immediately and very briefly after a hot start. It's not very loud, it just sounds like a little whirry burp. It might come in twos or threes but usually it's just one little noise. One note: this car has been a double/triple crank cold starter since I bought it five years ago. Otherwise, I love love love this car.
