Hi guys, its been awhile. I'm looking for some input, the turbowagon is close to 200k and needs brakes. I've already decided on Zimmerman cross drilled front rotors (rears still have life in them) but there seems to be more of a selection in the pad dept. than the last time I bought. So, what is the current opinion on the best pad for a slightly overtuned, hard driven grocery-getter like my '94 945T?
OK, slightly may be understating things a bit, fully dressed out suspension package w/sport springs, sway bars, chassis stiffeners, etc. (corners flat as a pancake), g-valve pushing 10 psi, and now for the brakes. I drive it hard and commute to work in it so there is plenty of braking. I used to use PBR Deluxe pads but they don't seem to last very long and have a tendency to fade the way I drive them lately. I'm leaning toward either a metallic or ceramic pad. Any input is welcome.
