Thanks to you all. 200

Hi all,

I have an '83 244GL and was having problems with noise from the front wheel. I searched the net and it wasn't until I discovered the BB that I found the answers and instructions on how to fix it. It was as I suspected the wheel bearing, but I couldn't find any info on how to fix it (my workshop manual is on the way from eBay). Thanks to you guys, I had all the info to go ahead and buy the bearing kit and did the job in only an hour, problem fixed.

Great site, great info and great people. I've had Volvos before, but have been a Daimler driver, until the head crack recently. As it turned out, it was far cheaper to put the Cat on the back burner and buy a cheap 244 and now I remember why I liked them so much before. The last one saved my life, giving it's own, in a head on. I don't believe I have driven a stronger car since the the late 60's Holdens in Australia, General Motors elsewhere.

Once again thanks for the great site and the invaluable information contained here. Keep up the good work guys.

Happy bricking,

John
