A good deed 200 1987

A few weeks ago I pro-actively replaced my fuel pump relay. My old one was working fine, so I through it in the tool box I keep in the trunk in case my new one went bad. This weekend while driving on I-196 in Michigan, I drove past a mid to late 80's 245 stopped on the sholder with the hood up. When I looked back I saw a woman looking under the hood. So, I pull over and backed up to see if I could help. She said she was driving along fine and all of a sudden, the engine just quit on her. I tested for spark - tested OK. No signs of overheating - fluids looked good. Then the lightbuld went off. Removed her old relay (it was hot to the touch and very discolored). I put my old relay in to her car, and it fired right up. She was so happy. She offered to pay me for my work and the relay, but being the true Brick nut I am, I just told her to continue the favor to someone else that needs it down the road.

Just spreadin the love.....
