Thumping under center armrest/storage on an 89 740 gl wagon 700 1989

Hello All



Thumping starts under accelaration and gets a bit softer the faster I go.

The transmission on this wagon is on its way out, and I have a doner already pulled from another volvo.

I feel this thumping comming from under the center armrest.

Could it be that bearing the drive shaft runs thru?

The U joints seem fine...no major play back and forth and side to side.

Any info or ideas are welcome.
