Free flow exhaust & back pressure question - turbo .... 700 1992

I want to replace both mufflers and the pipes on my 92 745T with something a bit more free flowing and with maybe a bit of a warble in the exhaust.

Is back pressure a biggie? I understand that I need a certain amount - but at the same time I want to open it up a bit - the flow that is.
