960 Transmission 143 'Oil temperature sensor circuit, open circuit' ? 900 1992

Hello, I've been geting a transmission code 143 which is :
"Oil temperature sensor circuit, open circuit" according to the

FAQ AW-30-40 info 

The car drives fine aside from avery rare PNP switch problem, but my question is what causes this code(143) is anyone familiar with this or have the AW 30/40 fault tracing manual ?
Recently replaced the lockup selonoid, flushed trany.
